  1. Hi Taryn,
I really enjoyed chatting with you at the Fredericksburg Book Festival last weekend. Thanks for sharing a sliver of your story with me – keep up the good work and keep enjoying the process! I look forward to seeing what you come out with next. 🙂

  2. Dear Ms. Kloeden,

Hello my name is Morgan, and we met at the Eat Local, Read Local Festive at Cascades Library on Saturday. I was the black girl with the polka dot headband. But we were talking and you gave me your email to contact you if I had any questions. But for some reason I can’t send you an email, so I figured leaving a comment on your website would work too. Anyway as a writer, I know I have trouble finding people to read my stories. Over the summer I’ve been looking for a local writing group, but haven’t found anything yet. So I was wondering how do you find people to read your stories? Are you a part of a group? And thank you for being so nice and wanting to help. It means a lot! Anyway I look forward to your reply.

    1. Hi Morgan!

Good to hear from you. I enjoyed speaking with you at the festival. I am part of a writing group called the Shenandoah Valley Writers–though unfortunately since I recently moved my involvement with them is mostly online now. I am also involved with a facebook group called Spirits and Sprints, though that is more marketing focused. Both of those groups are open to the public to join. But I’d suggest googling your area and writing group to see what is around. I know the Virginia Writers Club has chapters in Northern Va for instance. Hope that’s helpful! Feel free to dm me on my facebook page if you have more questions!
